In spite of what many may say, I do NOT recommend that during jury questioning that you ask, “Got rope?”
Having said that, while I have been called for jury duty, I have never been picked. Now, I work for a state law enforcement agency and should it be that any of the testimony or evidence in a trial has been handled by that state law enforcement agency, it is unlikely that I would be picked.
I do remember a case where one of my co-workers was on the jury and she was able to educate the other jurors of the difference of the severity of the crime. (Comparing “trafficking” to “possession with intent to sell” to “simple possession of controlled drugs”.)
Anyway, try to take some pleasure in seeing how the justice system works.
